Superior Group is looking for a Product Engineer 5 for our Client located in Norwood, MA Current Product Electrical/ Electro-Mechanical Engineer:The Product Engineer is part of the Point of Care (POC) Current Product Engineering (CPE) team. CPE coordinates sustaining engineering support for all POC products from the conclusion of the product development cycle to end of life.The team works closely with Global Product Service & Support, Manufacturing, Development, and Quality to drive corrective action in response to field issues, coordinate platform enhancements, resolve manufacturing obsolescence or quality issues implement cost reduction programs, and respond to new regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical/ electro-mechanical support to CPE with a focus on the Stratus CS cardiac analyzer. Daily activities will include investigating hardware complaints, researching and implementing alternative instrument components, developing validation plans and ensuring timely execution of those plans. Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications: BS in Electro-Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum of 8 years experience with analog and digital design, board layout and qualification, programmable logic and control system development, especially for electromechanical devices. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: BS/MS in Electro-Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6-10+ years of experience Good understanding of basic multidisciplinary engineering fundamentals and basic statistical methods The ability to function well both independently and as part of an integrated team. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential Experience with medical devices or other regulated industry is preferred Experience with Solidworks, LabVIEW and Minitab is a plus
